The Bay Tree Council for the Performing Arts in Red Bay, AL announces it's second production for the 2009-2010 season, Pillow Talk by Christopher Sergel. The performances will be February 11-13, 2010 at 7:00PM and Sunday February 14, 2010 at 2:00PM at the Arts and Entertainment Center in Red Bay, AL. Tickets are $8.00 each and can be purchased in advance at the Arts and Entertainment Center starting Monday February 1 between the hours of 2:00PM and 4:00PM Monday through Friday or by calling 256-356-9829. A meal will be served on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at an additional cost of $14.00, but must be purchased in advance. The play Pillow Talk, directed by Mark Richardson, tells the story of Jan Morrow, a successful young interior decorator who is forced to share a party line with a man named Brad Allen. Brad is so frequently talking to one girl or another that Jan, in desperation, breaks in on one of his conversations, only to have Brad accuse her of snooping. This hurts her feelings because she'd never do that. She's a lonely girl who has been giving everything to her work, and her evenings are spent alone, talking to her pillow. Through a friend, Brad finally meets Jan. He passes himself off as a naive young fellow from Texas named Rex Stetson, and Jan is entranced. When Brad, over their party line, gives her dire warnings concerning Rex, she is indignant. Brad's dual identity as the Texan and the cynical commentator on Jan's increasingly important love for the gentle Rex makes this a very special comedy. The cast includes Tina Smith, Rachel Boyd, Billy Boyd, Scotty Kennedy, Katie Bostick, Keisha Northington, Jada Berry, Heather Ozbirn, Jeff Kemp, Zeb Wallace, Scotty Bradley, Jerry Turner, Stephanie Crandell, Kelsey Kemp, Linda Massey, and Jessica Fowler.
